The board of Control for Cricket in India has nominated the young and talented player Virat Kohli for the 2012 Arjuna Award on the 30th of April in 2013. He has proved himself to be a consistent run getter in the present days with his brilliant performance. HE also heads the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL 6 in 2013. It is also noted that Sunil Gavaskar, the legendary player, who was the first batsman to score 10000 runs in test match has been nominated for the most prestigious Dhyan Chand Award for his dedicated game of Cricket. The news also brings us that none of the top Indian Cricketers have been nominated for the most valuable Arjuna Award rather than Virat Kohli during the last season. This was considered because there was a large communication gap between the BCCI and sports ministry. Let’s hope our bubbling player will win the Arjuna Award and reach great heights in his game of cricket.
