Ravindra Jadeja was born on the 6th of December in the year 1988 in Jamnagar in Gujarat. He was born to Anirudhsinh and Lataben. His father worked as a watchman for a private security agency and his mother was a nurse. He has a elder sister named Naina, who is employed as a nurse and a younger sister Padmini. His mother Lataben passed away in the year 2005 in an accident which shattered the cricket life of Jadeja for quite a long period.

Ravindra Jadeja played his first game for India in the year 2005. He was a part of the Under 19 squad and played the match when he was 16 years old. Impressed by his performance he was again into the Indian squad for the 2006 Under 19 world cup which was in Sri Lanka. In the final match against Pakistan Jadeja played well in the match and took 3 wickets.

With his stunning game in the 2006 Cricket World cup he became the vice captain in 2008 Under 19 World cup and leaded the team to victory. He mesmerized everyone by taking a total of 10 wickets in 6 games in that tournament.

Jadeja’s first Class debut was in the year 2006-2007. He played in the Duleep Trophy as a part of West Zone. In the Ranji trophy he plays for the Saurashtra team.

He became a notified player by all with is all rounding performance in the 2008-09 Ranji Trophy. He bowled well and took 42 wickets and also he played well with his bat and scored a total of 739 runs. With his constant good performance he was then selected to play in the ODI series in Sri Lanka.

In 2008 IPL Jadeja was a part of Rajasthan Royals and played a very well game defeating the Chennai Super Kings in the Finals. In 2009 IPL league, he played even better than he played in previous IPL League. In 2009 he was consistently targeted and called Sir Ravindra Jadeja in all Social Networks.

Jadeja’s first International debut was on the 8th of February in the year 2009. India lost that match but Jadeja scored 60 runs in that match. Then in the year 2009 Jadeja was not praised for his game as he was criticised for not scoring well in the matches. But then as Yusuf Pathan was not fit to play, Jadeja took his place at number 7 down the order.

In the end of 2009 on the 21st of December in the match against Sri Lanka Jadeja played really well and took four wickets grabbing the man of the match award. After that Jadeja played in the third ODI against England in London. When India was in a critical position after losing its five wickets with just 58 runs on board, Jadeja scored 78 runs and made 112 runs partnership with Dhoni. Jadeja was named the player of the match for his performance but India lost that match to England. In the fourth ODI Jadeja gave four overthrow but he took a brilliant catch.

In the year 2012 at the start of the season Jadeja performed well in the Ranji trophy matches and impressed the viewers. I those matches he scored 303 not out against Gujarat and 109 against the Railways at Rajkot. Totally he scored 300 plus runs in four matches.

Jadeja’s first debut test match was against England in Nagpur. It was the fourth test match against them and Jadeja was added as the 15th player in the team. HE played well in his debut match and took 3 wickets by giving 117 runs. In this test match he bowled about 70 overs.

He also developed his batting skills and scored 61 runs of just 37 balls in the second ODI match against England in Kochi. In the second innings he proved his bowling by taking 2 wickets by just giving 12 runs in 7 overs. For his terrific performance he was awarded the man of the Match.

In 2012 Jadeja was the 8th player in history to score three first class triple centuries in his career. He was the first Indian player to do the same and cherishes the credit. His first triple century was in November 2011 against Orissa. He scored 314 runs out of 375 runs. Second triple century was against Gujarat in November 2012. In that he scored 303 runs. The third triple century was against Railways in December 2012, in which he got 331 runs. Jadeja achieved this milestone at a very early age of 23.

In March 2013, Jadeja played against Australia and he took about 24 wickets. His big wicket was dismissing the Australian captain Michael Clarke. He dismissed the captain 5 times out of six times the captain played in the series. With this great job Jadeja took his permanent place in the Indian team as an all-rounder. He also got the man of the match award in the final test match for his stunning bowling.

Jadeja is popularly known as Jadu, Sir Ravindra Jadeja, RJ, Rockstar, Revdi and SRJ. Ravindra Jadeja is well wished and greeted by all, that with him game he has made the Rajputs Proud. Jadeja’s best bowling is 4-32 in his career. HE has played as a part of Kochi Tuskers Kerala, Rajasthan Royals, Saurashtra, West Zone, India Under 19, Chennai Super Kings and for Team India.
