Well! I just reached home after watching sequel movie The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug which released last week. The movie which itself has responsibility to fulfill big expectation for the whole lot of crowd that follow Lord Of The Rings. The movie is directed by Peter Jackson and filled with lot of characters.
The movie which starts up has short flashback conversation between Gandalf and Thorin which is start up plan to start the journey for reclaiming Erbor. With last movie ended on escape from Golem and Orcs which just continue in this also. Later the crew try to enter into forest filled with Spider which is commence of first action sequence in the movie. Bilbo Baggins helps in rescue of the team with his mysterious ring which is the reason for this whole big tale. When things went out of control introduction of Legolas and Tariuel killed the spiders and imprisoned the Dwarves. Meantime, Gandalf who get separated before entering forrest walk into fight with Sauron.
The action sequence and camera angels were very beautiful and precise when Dwarves escape from Elf in barrel. You will be witnessing fierce archery skills from Legolas played by Orlando Bloom. The “Barrel-Riders” end up meeting Bard (Human) in laketown.
In the climax, Bilbo asked to take Arkenstone and Thorin and team effort to kill dragon which goes begging. There will quite lot of conversation between Bilbo and film which later start to show hint of Thorin greediness towards Arkenstone. In other location Gandalf would have lost his fight with Sauron and imprisoned. The movie will be ending with Dragon fly towards Laketown to burn things making way to third and final part The Hobbit: There and Back Again.
Personally movie has satisfied expectation has an Hobbit fan but still rather making the movie into trilogy it could have completed has sequel. On over all movie will keep you interesting and whole time we will be trying to connect things with Lord Of The Rings series. It going to be tasty Christmas cake for The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug watchers.
